Humans of Teresa #1: Trip to Pandacan from Sta. Mesa
Photo from google
We, students of PUP Sta. Mesa always walk in this street called "Teresa". This street has side vendors, a lot of people, street children, and cars that sometimes create a traffic of people. From there, you will see the railroad where the train travels. This distinctive railroad has a vehicle where a human is pushing this thing to travel from one station to another.
This is what we call "trolley". The person who runs this trolley (the man at the right) lived in Teresa since he was born. Because of being impecunious and to afford the everyday needs, he thought of making money by driving/pushing this trolley. He thought of doing this thing to earn and it is the easiest way to have money other than doing bad things. He is doing this thing for 7 years now and living a happy life just by being contented in what he is earning.
I myself, tried to ride in this trolley (but i didn't got a chance to take a photo or vid while riding because I'm scared, especially when we were on the bridge), it is worth 10 pesos per person. Before they left the Sta. Mesa station, they need to wait 10 persons to ride the trolley. So all in all, they will earn 100 pesos per ride.
So here's a photo of trolley on the bridge.

See? It's scary.
The people from Teresa are maybe experiencing poverty, they still manage to have a smile on their face despite of the hardships and problems they have. They are still striving hard and doing good things. Perhaps, they know how to be a decent people with too much respect on others and on the law.
